    by Jenny Ngyuen | Oct 12, 2016

Bellevue Parks & Community Services Department now have group volunteer opportunities that are designed for businesses.

On one Friday each month, Bellevue Parks & Community Services hosts volunteer events throughout the city as part of their Eco Fridays program. Eco Fridays take place 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. and are held at various parks throughout the City of Bellevue. A wide variety of businesses, civic organizations, non-profits and schools have taken up the challenge to donate their time. The groups plant native trees and shrubs, restore hiking trails, remove noxious weeds and complete other park improvement projects. These events are a great bonding experience for the group, and the volunteers really enjoy seeing the immediate fruits of their labor.
