Bellevue Jazz Festival announces full concert schedule

Grammy Award winners Bill Frisell and Poncho Sanchez
plus more than 40 free shows throughout
Downtown Bellevue May 28 to June 1

The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) has released the full concert schedule for the 7th Annual Bellevue Jazz Festival, returning to Downtown Bellevue May 28 to June 1, 2014. Festival goers can take in both free and ticketed performances by international jazz icons, celebrated regional artists and top student musicians.

Ticketed festival performances will take center stage at the 410-seat Theatre at Meydenbauer Center and at Bake’s Place, a live music and dining venue in Downtown Bellevue.

“The festival delivers a great range of artistic experiences,” said Patrick Bannon, president of the Bellevue Downtown Association. “It’s a community-inspired celebration at its heart with Bellevue’s deep history in jazz education and our tradition of presenting extraordinary live music in a variety of settings throughout downtown.”

Established in 2008, the Bellevue Jazz Festival presents a diverse array of jazz musicians in a five-day lineup of free and ticketed performances in a variety of venues in Downtown Bellevue. Headlining artists were selected in collaboration with John Gilbreath, executive director of Earshot Jazz.
