“Symetra is excited to partner once again with the Bellevue Downtown Association and Eastside Pride PNW to kick off pride month in Bellevue — and thrilled to return as the presenting partner for Paws & Pride. We are delighted to support this fun, family-oriented event that champions inclusion and celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and allies on the Eastside,” said Trinity Parker, SVP and chief marketing officer at Symetra and BDA board chair.

The event will spotlight an array of booths hosted by local pet-focused, LGBTQIA+, and ally businesses and organizations, welcoming all members from across the region for an inclusive celebration in Downtown Bellevue.

“We’re so honored to help provide visibility and representation for the LGBTQIA+ community through Paws & Pride Dog Walk,” Corrinalyn Guyette, Board President of Eastside Pride PNW, said. "Our collaboration with the Bellevue Downtown Association, City of Bellevue, and Symetra represents a powerful example of how partnerships and collaboration can create positive change.”

Participants are encouraged to wear bright colors and pride attire; dogs are optional. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m., with complimentary parking available at West Main’s (Amazon Dynamo) building located at 85 106th Ave NE.

“The Bellevue Downtown Association can’t wait to host Paws & Pride at one of Downtown’s favorite public gathering spaces,” said BDA President Patrick Bannon. “The park is the perfect downtown setting to welcome and celebrate pride month as a community.”

The Paws & Pride Dog Walk is made possible through the support of presenting sponsor Symetra, supporting partner Amazon, friends of Paws & Pride BECU, HCMP P.S. and L&L Animal Urgent Care, and media partners Warm 106.9, 425 Magazine, and c89.5.
