Downtown and Resiliency
A Message from the BDA

BDA Community,

Our job to invite and promote an active, thriving downtown economy and experience has flipped - for the moment - to triaging communication, seeking answers, and considering contingencies.

We know you’re each coping with the serious impacts of the coronavirus outbreak in real time. You’re taking precautions to keep your coworkers, customers and guests safe - and adjusting operations with the realities of the pandemic. This situation is uniquely unsettling, but we’ve seen Bellevue’s talented community rise with compassion and ingenuity on many challenges.

Downtown Bellevue is a resilient place and will rebound with verve as the people-filled heart of the city. We’ll all have a role to play when it’s safe to do so, but first things first, we know this health emergency calls for a bold response from all levels, working together.

Our charge as an organization is to advocate and collaborate with stamina on your behalf, and that’s exactly what we’ll do in this situation. The BDA website will keep posting updates and links to important resources, you can find them on this page. We’ll also list opportunities and ideas to support organizations who are on the front lines of serving our community.

Please let us know how we can support you and work better together – staying connected will ensure we can bounce back stronger than ever. Email us directly or connect on social, I would love to hear from you.
