Paws & Pride Dog Walk

The Paws & Pride Dog Walk will return for its second year on Saturday, June 1 to a new venue, Bellevue Downtown Park. Supported by presenting sponsor Symetra, Bellevue’s largest LGBTQIA+ event will kick off Pride Month with a stroll around the park and post-walk festivities with a mimosa/beer garden, DJ Puma, RuPaw’s Dawg Costume Contest, and Drag Queen, Gaysha Starr.

Registration is now open! Donations are encouraged and will be directed to Seattle Humane in Bellevue and Lambert House, a nonprofit committed to empowering lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth in the greater Seattle area. Register below or visit our Eventbrite link.

Paws up for charity! Partial net proceeds of the event registration fees will equally benefit Seattle Humane and Lambert House, a nonprofit organization that empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth through the development of leadership, social, and life skills in the greater Seattle, Washington area.

Seattle Humane in Bellevue

Founded in 1897, Seattle Humane proudly promotes the human-animal bond by saving and serving pets in need. They are more than a shelter – Seattle Humane is a pet resource center for the region, providing adoption services, a pet food bank and support for pet owners, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and wellness exams, humane education for all ages and more. ​All made possible through the support of a generous community. Lambert House

Lambert House empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth through the development of leadership, social, and life skills. Since 1981, the Lambert House LGBTQ Youth Center has cared for, championed, and celebrated over 15,000 individual minors and young adults through over 500,000 service contacts. Ongoing in-person groups are currently available in Seattle, North Bend, and Maple Valley with activities organized in other communities around King County.
