Art By Deepa Sharma
Artist: Deepa Sharma

What type of art do you create?

Fine Art - Pencil, Pen and Oil. I am inspired by everyday observations and travel. The rich vibrant colors in my art are inspired from my cultural background.

How long have you been practicing your type of art?

Does drawing on walls as a toddler count? Seriously, I have always loved art but have been actively practicing in fairs and exhibitions for the past 8 years.

What is your latest project?

I am intrigued by landscapes - trying pen and water based markers to create landscapes of places I travel. People in conversation always fascinate me. It's a theme which I keep going back often.

Eden & Ebb

I create hand dyed apparel.

How long have you been practicing your type of art?

I started with tie dye during Covid and started experimenting with different dyeing techniques about a year and a half ago.

I'm continuing to expand our collection and working with new fabrics.

Fat Dragonfly Collection

What type of art do you create?

I am a mixed media illustrator. I create images using pen, paint and mixed media/digital components.

Where did you learn or develop your technique?

I started drawing as a child. Over the years I have experimented with different methods of illustration using paint and eventually incorporating digital components.

Anything else you'd like to share with the Bellevue community?

I am an artist based in Bellingham, Wash. I've been creating and selling art for more than 20 years. I draw inspiration from the beautiful backdrop of my home in the Pacific Northwest, with emphasis on nature, animals and the elements of line, texture and color. My work has been described as a blend of mid-century modern, contemporary folk, with a touch of Native influence. As an artist and a lover of nature, my goal is to enhance awareness of the natural environments we share with all living earthlings and to inspire cruelty-free lifestyles. When I'm not making and selling art, I am exploring in my "tiny-home-on-wheels" with my fur friends.

Muffet Designs Postage Stamp Art
Artist: Linda Dominick

What type of art do you create?

I create postage stamp collage art out of postage stamps.

Where did you learn or develop your technique?

I am self-taught.

What is your latest project?

My most recent project has been a large multi-colored fish.

Saucy Jewelry
Artist: Elisa Saucy

What type of art do you create?

I create jewelry using sterling silver and high karat golds.

Where did you learn or develop your technique?

I learned the basics of silversmithing from my daughter's grandmother. Years of trial and error followed. Practice is a daily part of studio life.

Anything else you'd like to share with the Bellevue community?

I am happy to be back in Bellevue again. It’s always fun to reconnect with loyal customers and to meet new people.

Teresa White Mosaics

I've been fortunate enough to take classes and workshops from some top mosaic artists.
