Bake’s Place

The Seattle-based funk and jazz band began in 2008 as an ode to jazz organ greats Jimmy Smith and Captain Jack McDuff. The three-person ensemble has two albums with a third slated for spring 2015.

Lloyd Jones Struggle

Bake’s Place

This six-member band combines New Orleans rhythm, the simplicity of Memphis music and the rawness of the blues all for the 21stcentury. Front man Lloyd Jones was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band
