Puget Sound Business Journal: Big bays will jut out from the top of this new Bellevue apartment tower

A busy construction zone in downtown Bellevue will get busier when ground is broken for a 19-story apartment tower, perhaps as soon as next spring.

A local real estate developer, CD Heritage, is planning the project on a half-acre, mid-block site at 888 108th Ave. N.E. That's across the street from where construction is wrapping up on a high-rise that will house Salesforce.com offices, and where construction is under way on this six-story Hilton Garden Inn at Washington Square.

The city has given partial approval to CD Heritage's project, according to Thursday's land-use bulletin. The developer still has to get the construction permit so the start date is still to be determined, "but if I had to guess, maybe April to May," Dave Meissner, the head of CD, said Friday.
