Bellevue's Grand Connection

At 1.5 mile long, the Grand Connection links people and places through the heart of Bellevue through a series of projects and initiatives designed to improve the pedestrian experience starting at Meydenbauer Bay Park, through Old Bellevue, Downtown Park, and the city's retail and civic hubs before eventually crossing I-405 to Eastrail in Wilburton. The Grand Connections builds on a vision and existing City policy to create an active “pedestrian corridor” brought to life over time with major public and private investments. At full potential, it will be an iconic destination, offering open spaces, events, and improved access to recreation and active transportation.
