BDA Downtown Talks Presents:
2025 Bellevue City Council Candidates Forum
7:30 - 9:00 am | Meydenbauer Center
Held every election cycle, the BDA’s Council Candidates Forum offers the candidates an opportunity to introduce themselves and share their goals with the Downtown stakeholder community.
The BDA does not endorse candidates and maintains a neutral role when programing election-related events. The forum is highly structured to ensure all candidates receive an equal amount of time when responding to questions in a fair, informative setting.
At this forum you'll gain insights from the 10 candidates into their visions, priorities, and solutions for the challenges ahead. Join fellow downtown stakeholders to explore where each candidate stands on the key issues that will influence Bellevue’s growth, economic vitality, and overall quality of life. Stay engaged by reserving your spot today.
The candidates that progressed past the primary and will be up for election in November include Vishal Bhargava and Paul Clark (Seat 1), Naren Briar and Conrad Lee (Seat 2), Pradnya Desh and Jared Nieuwenhuis (Seat 4), Matthew Rish and Claire Sumadiwirya (Seat 5), and Nicole Myers and Lynne Robinson (Seat 6).
Kim Malcolm, host of KUOW's All Things Considered, will be the moderator for this event. The event will include a campaign fair where candidates can share additional information about their campaign priorities.
