Details

Broadway actor and Seattle star Anne Allgood joins Eastside Actors' Lab to bring you this song interpretation acting workshop. This musical workshop, produced by Eastside Actors' Lab, together with professional Broadway actress Anne Allgood, will help participating actors and singers develop their song interpretation skills, improve their singing auditions, and develop their vocal technique.

Drawing from her extensive experience on Broadway, with National Tours, and on regional stages coast-to-coast, Anne will help guide actors’ impulses to make their song performance engaging and meaningful and to help improve their audition technique.

Participants should bring their own musical number, whether it is joyful, mournful, or epic. They will receive the rigor of dedicated instruction with a highly-skilled, experienced professional actress. Participants will also gain invaluable knowledge in watching Anne coach others and in witnessing how subtle shifts in technique can produce amazing results.
