Visit the BAM Forum for a free demonstration and display of Washi Tape art by artist Melody Maleitzke. This showcase has been developed alongside the Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper exhibition, featuring 9 contemporary artists who have pushed washi beyond its traditional uses to create highly textured two-dimensional works, expressive sculptures, and dramatic installations.
