Celebrate the arrival of spring with King County Master Gardeners at the Bellevue Demonstration Garden Annual Spring Plant Sale! You can discover the perfect plant for your garden or a thoughtful gift. This year’s sale will take place on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 15500 SE 16th St in Bellevue.
Browse a wide selection of four-inch vegetable starts, all grown locally in the nearby greenhouse by WSU Extension King County Master Gardeners. From classic favorites to unique, hard-to-find varieties, the sale offers something for every type of gardener.
Shoppers can choose from tomatoes, basil, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants and more. In addition, the sale features a diverse assortment of ornamental plants suitable for garden beds, borders and containers.
The popular garden market returns as well, offering new and gently used gardening books, tools, pots and other treasures, all at bargain prices.
Throughout the event, visitors can stop by the onsite plant clinic, where Extension Master Gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions and share helpful resources. Families with young children can enjoy a scavenger hunt in the Children’s Garden, adding a playful and educational element to the day.
Parking is available both in the lot and along the street.
Proceeds from the plant sale enable the Master Gardener Foundation of King County to support the activities of the WSU Extension King County Master Gardener Program. Purchases may be made by cash, check, or credit card.
