BRENT JENSEN'S "PURE DESMOND" BAND

Brent Jensen says people often tell him that he sounds very much like Paul Desmond, the iconic cool jazz saxophonist from the Dave Brubeck Quartet. You've possibly heard Jensen playing around the Northwest, or on his very popular CD on Seattle's Origin Records, “The Sound of a Dry Martini: Remembering Paul Desmond”. Jensen moved to the Puget Sound region three years ago after having served as the Director of Jazz Studies at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls for eighteen years. Joining Jensen on this special Desmond tribute event will be Chris Symer on bass, John Bishop on drums, and Jamie Findlay on guitar.
