Create colorful portraits using color pencils. Each week you will learn and apply the different elements that go into creating a compelling portrait using color and line. You will examine the work of contemporary and historic artists to inspire and inform your work.

TAS@BAM

TAS@BAM is a free drop-in arts class that offers a casual and supportive environment where participants enjoy access to BAM's current exhibitions. Each month a Resident Teaching Artist will focus on different skills and themes to teach in connection with a current BAM exhibition. Teen Art Studios are set up to have new students every workshop so don't be afraid to stop by anytime! TAS@BAM is free and open to all students ages 13 –18, and includes art materials.
