The Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series welcomes Greta Matassa Sextet.

Greta Matassa built her 40-year career in the Pacific Northwest. Over the last 20 years, she has become established as one of the greatest jazz singers of her time. Greta has worked with top jazz musicians in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Her discography includes 11 CDs and has landed her as the best jazz vocalist in the Northwest by readers of Earshot Jazz. She was also inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame in 2014.

Greta’s decision to start teaching was her greatest contribution to the future of the genre she loves so much. For the last 20 years, Greta has offered individual lessons and mentorships as well as establishing loyal student bases worldwide.
