  • Zach Carstensen, Sr. Manager, US State & Local Government Affairs, Salesforce
    Zach Carstensen is Sr. Manager for Government Affairs. In this role, he leads state, local and provincial government affairs activities in Western US states and British Columbia. Prior to joining Salesforce he was Director for Outreach with US Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal and also spent 10 years managing the Jewish Federation of Seattle’s government and community relations work. He earned an undergraduate degree (BA) from Iowa State University and law degree (JD) from Drake University. In his spare time he is active in his Catholic parish (St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish), serves as co-chair of the Washington Technology Association’s Public Policy Committee, and is the founding Public Policy Chair for the Jewish Community Relations Council’s Public Advocacy Committee.

  • Yassi Jazayeri, CEO & Founder, Yassi & Associates
    Yassi Jazayeri has been serving clients in the Greater Seattle Area since 2015. She is an award winning Real Estate Consultant & her strategic approach to listing and buying properties helped her to become “Rookie of the Year'' during her very first year as an agent. She has continued to rank consistently within the Top 10% of agents in the metropolitan area within the last three years and she was also awarded the #1 agent in volume for 2021 for the Keller Williams Realty Bellevue office, while she was also named a “Rising Star” by Real Producer Magazine.

  • Lisa Morten, Chief People Officer, Overlake Medical
    Center & Clinics

    Lisa Morten joined Overlake in 2007, and during her tenure has elevated performance in talent management, employee and labor relations, total compensation, and recruitment strategy. In her role as Chief People Officer, Morten is guiding the strategy and processes related to growing and retaining an exceptional workforce that serves our community. She oversees the Human Resources division and the Overlake Specialty School. Morten has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and business from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, an MBA from Seattle Pacific University and is a graduate of Leadership Eastside’s Adaptive Leadership Program.

Moderator: Susan Stead, Principal and VP, Parker, Smith & Feek
Susan joined PS&F in 1988 as employee number 88. Fast forward to 2023, and PS&F now is part of IMA and has more than 1,800 employees. PS&F is a privately held insurance brokerage firm, and has over 200 people in our Bellevue office and many more throughout WA. Susan is a Principal in the firm and leads their Real Estate Practice Group for the region. Susan is also on the BDA Board and was Board Chair several years ago.
