The Forest Song, originally written in 1911 by one of Ukrainian literature's foremost writers, Lesya Ukrainka, it is a Fairy Drama. IBT is excited to feature, for this performance, the Principal dancers of National Opera of Ukraine Kateryna Kukhar and Alexander Stoyanov who will bring this magical tale to the stage.

IBT is honored to present this Classical Ballet performance of a Ukrainian folk tale to Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Theatre. Come witness the passion of Ukraine. Celebrate ballet as an art form ingrained in Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

IBT also wishes to celebrate and share a dance performance that originated from their dance studio in Bellevue. IBT is excited to open this event with the premiere of a contemporary composition, Imprinted Heart by choreographer Francois Serre y Berga.

This unique dance performance promises to support IBT's mission to enrich the lives of children and adults through the creativity and beauty of dance, and gives our community a chance to witness the beauty of classical ballet as it's meant to be seen -- live on a stage in the theatre.
