Parlor Live is thrilled to welcome comic legend John Witherspoon! You remember him as Ice Cube’s whacky dog-catching dad in the hit trilogy “Friday,” “Next Friday,” & “Friday After Next,” as Pops on the long-running sitcom "The Wayans Brothers," or as Spoon on "The Tracy Morgan Show." Witherspoon’s career in comedy has spanned four decades with his quirky attitude and memorable catch phrases, such as “Bang Bang!” He can recently be heard as the voice of the eccentric Granddad on Cartoon Network’s The Boondocks.
