Paper Bearded Iris Workshop
Join Kate Alarcon and learn how to make a gloriously ruffled bearded iris! We’ll use the maximally stretchy 90 gram crepe paper to create sumptuous frills and body, applying soft pastels to capture the water-color effect of bearded iris petals. The instructor will even show you how to make that famous, velvety beard! This special three-hour class is open to beginners, but should prove especially interesting to crafters who are seeking to expand their crepe paper knowledge and learn advanced flower techniques. All supplies are included. $75 BBGS members/$85 nonmembers.
