The Ballard Civic Orchestra provides multi-generational, intercultural classical music experiences to Seattle-area community members of all ages with its 2018 Concert Series "Celebrating Latinx Cultural Heritage," supported by grants from the City of Bellevue Special Projects program and from the Latino Community Fund.


The Sound Singers Japanese Choir under the direction of Chris Vincent will perform several representative pieces as well as a collaborative presentation of Mozart's Laudate Dominum conducted by Chris Vincent. The Sound Singers Japanese Choir, established in 2009, is comprised of individuals with an interest in Japan and who are dedicated to the mission of "Building Friendship Through Music!" Their music seeks to celebrate the culture of Japan as well as other cultures while deepening understanding and appreciation for diversity and connection with people from all nations.

All events are free to the public and take place at First Congregational Church, Bellevue (11061 NE 2nd St, Bellevue, WA 98004). Free event parking is available. Doors open 30 minutes before the event. The building is accessible and hearing assistance is available.
