Beloved for centuries (and temporarily boosted in US sales by the movie Sideways in the early 2000’s), Pinot Noir is one of the world’s most popular red wines. Pinot Noir wines are light to medium body and range in style from light and fruity to complex with aging capability. Notoriously difficult to grow, it fairs best in cool climates which allow its natural acidity and subtle balance of fruit and earthiness to shine.
We’ll be tasting a variety of Pinot Noir wines from France and North America that show the depth of this classic French varietal.
