TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY SCOTTISH FIDDLE WITH BRANDON VANCE

World-Class violinist and Scottish fiddler, Brandon Vance, is an innovative performer-composer, creating new music in a traditional style, while honoring the classics of the Scottish fiddling tradition. As a torch-bearer of this living tradition, Vance brings musical narratives to life through his nuanced performances, imparting listeners with a greater sense of cultural connected-ness.

Vance’s playing will be complemented by the artistry of Anita Anderson (piano), and Dan Carollo (guitar). The evening’s repertoire will include selections from Vance’s new solo album, The Gentleman & Scholar.
