June Downtown Talks: State of the City
Mayor Lynne Robinson and Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis will deliver their annual State of the City address on June 28. Hear updates on the local economy, mobility projects, equity and inclusion work, and community safety. Breakfast is included with registration.
State of the City is produced by the Bellevue Downtown Association in partnership with the City of Bellevue and mayoral leadership.

Mayor Lynne Robinson | City of Bellevue
Mayor Lynne Robinson joined the City Council in 2014, and she has a long history of civic involvement. She is a champion for startups and small business, and has encouraged startup and equity crowdfunding workshops at City Hall. Her colleagues voted her deputy mayor in January 2018 and mayor in January 2020 and again in January 2022.
Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis | City of Bellevue
Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis was elected to the council in November 2017, for a four-year term starting in January 2018. His focus is on neighborhoods and results-oriented local government. He was chosen deputy mayor in January 2020 and again in January 2022.
