Summer is here and so is the critical need for blood donations! While you’re soaking up the sun and enjoying summer adventures, patients fighting cancer, traumas, and undergoing surgeries are counting on blood donors like you. Donating is easy, convenient, and takes just about an hour—but the impact on our local community members lasts a lifetime. Blood donations tend to drop during the summer months, making your blood donation more important than ever. All blood types are urgently needed, but you don’t need to know your blood type to schedule an appointment. You’ll find out your blood type when you donate! Be a giver this summer.
