Bellevue 600 - Amazon
A subsidiary of Amazon acquired the property in early 2019. In July of 2019, Amazon filed a pre-application for a 600-foot tall, 43-story, 1 million square-foot tower, with an estimated completion date of 2024. Prior to the Amazon acquisition, Seattle-based Touchstone, on behalf of Equity Commonwealth, had proposed a master development plan including two towers.
The Bellevue 600 project is planned to be developed in two phases and will house additional Amazon employees in Bellevue. Phase 1 will redevelop the eastern section of the property and Phase 2 will build out the western section. Phase 1 will include a 43-story office tower with underground parking. Phase 2 will demolish the existing Bellevue Corporate Plaza structure and build a 33-story office building. Phase 1 will begin in 2021, with occupancy expected in 2024.
