A Holiday Tradition Returns: The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink Marks 28 Years of Winter Magic
From Nov. 21 – Jan. 19, skaters of all ages can enjoy real ice, themed nights, and festive fun under Bellevue’s skyline.

The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) announces the return of the region’s largest open-air ice rink to Bellevue Downtown Park from November 21, 2025-January 19, 2026.

Now celebrating its 28th year, the rink features more than 9,000 square feet of real ice in a fully covered, open-air venue surrounded by Downtown Bellevue’s skyline. With themed skate nights and on-site concessions, there’s fun for everyone—from first-time skaters to seasoned pros. This season, guests can look forward to special appearances from the Seattle Kraken on select dates.

Advance tickets and season passes are available now at bellevueicerink.com. Walk-up tickets will be limited, so visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

Courtesy of Microsoft, free skate lessons are offered throughout the season from 5:30–7:30 p.m. on select days and from 7:30–9:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays.

“For 28 years, the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink has brought people together in the heart of Downtown Bellevue,” says BDA President Patrick Bannon. “We’re proud to continue creating a space that celebrates community, connection, and the simple joy of the season.”

In addition to ice skating, Downtown Bellevue offers other winter festivities, from the dazzling Garden d’Lights at Bellevue Botanical Garden, to edible fun at KidsQuest Children’s Museum’s Gingerbread Workshops at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, and the iconic Snowflake Lane at The Bellevue Collection.
