April 30, 2025 - by BDA Staff
Bellevue Downtown Park will welcome the return of the third annual Paws & Pride Dog Walk on Saturday, May 31, produced by Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) and Eastside Pride PNW.
Free registration is open at: https://www.bellevuedowntown.com/events/paws-and-pride-dog-walk. Donations are encouraged and will be directed to Eastside Pride PNW and Seattle Humane in Bellevue.
This family-friendly event invites LGBTQIA+ community members, allies, and their pups for a morning stroll around the park followed by an “After Paw-ty" featuring a lineup of live entertainment, a beer/mimosa garden, food trucks and more. Attendees will also have a chance to explore a variety of booths hosted by local pet-focused, LGBTQIA+, and ally businesses and organizations.
"We’re grateful to continue elevating and uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices,” said Corrinalyn Guyette, Board President of Eastside Pride PNW. “Paws & Pride isn’t just a celebration, but a collaborative effort that brings joy while driving real connection and representation on the Eastside.”
The pride celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m with a pride ceremony led by Bellevue Deputy Mayor Mo Malakoutian and other city leader officials. Complimentary parking is available at the Park Plaza surface parking lot at 505 106th Ave NE.
"Bellevue Downtown Park is at the heart of our city and continues to be a vibrant and inclusive space that perfectly reflects the spirit of the Paws & Pride Dog Walk. We’re thrilled to co-host the event here again with Eastside Pride PNW,” said BDA President & CEO Patrick Bannon.
The Paws & Pride Dog Walk is made possible through the support of presenting partner Symetra, friends of Paws & Pride Amazon, B’zoe Care, IMA and Salesforce, community partners Bank of America, HDR, VCA Bellevue Veterinary Hospital, and media partners 425 Magazine and Warm 106.9.
