Artist Spotlight: Meet the Creators Behind the Art
July 24, 2025 - by Brittnie Eakle
Bellevue Arts Fair Weekend | July 25–27, 2025
This weekend creativity takes center stage as over 350 artists from across the region showcase their work at Bellevue Arts Fair Weekend – a beloved celebration of art, innovation and community.
We’ve highlighted 80+ featured artists through our Artist Spotlight series, giving you a chance to go beyond the booth and hear the stories behind the art.
We asked these talented creators questions like: What inspires you? How would you describe your art? When do you know the piece is finished? Did you always know you’d become an artist? Their answers are as diverse and inspiring as the work they’ll be showing.
What kind of art will be at the fair?
All kinds! From stunning 2-D and 3-D mixed media pieces to handcrafted ceramics, textiles, sculptures, and photography, the talented artists represent a wide spectrum of art forms. You’ll discover everything from fiber arts and glasswork to metal sculptures, wearable art and specialty foods.
This is a weekend you won’t want to miss.
Is it just art or will there be other activities this weekend?
While the art is at the heart of Bellevue Arts Fair Weekend, the experience goes far beyond the booths. All weekend long, enjoy interactive activities like community chalk art, face painting, live glassblowing demos, paper bead making, origami and more! With hands-on fun for all ages, this event is as much about creativity as it is about community.
Beyond the art and hands-on activities, there’s even more to enjoy throughout the weekend, including delicious food and live entertainment.
- After Hours at BAM: Dance the night away at Bellevue Arts Museum’s rooftop concert series, complete with food, cocktails, and live music under the stars.
- BAM Performing Artists: Enjoy dynamic performances that explore the art of movement and its connection to culture and community.
- Live Music at the BDA Stage: Catch a lineup of talented local and regional musicians bringing energy and variety to the heart of the fair.
