Bellhop: A New Way to Ride in Downtown Bellevue

Starting August 1, Visit Bellevue is partnering with Circuit to bring a new way to travel around Downtown Bellevue. Introducing Bellhop: the first free all-electric shuttle service in the Pacific Northwest. This unique pilot program will run through December 31 and plans to integrate eco-friendliness with an elevated, sustainable, and a seamless travel experience.

According to Visit Bellevue, Bellhop aims to replace short care rides of two miles or less – which accounts for 35% of car trips – with more sustainable options. Bellhop is projected to reduce over 100 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.

"This point-to-point, on-demand, all-electric connector transportation service signifies a meaningful stride towards our commitment to sustainability, and we are eager to see how it revolutionizes last-mile travel while enhancing the visitor experience in Bellevue,” said Brad Jones, Executive Director of Visit Bellevue.

With the hopes that Bellhop will continue to grow in the community, Visit Bellevue’s vision for the shuttle service is to provide the city’s growing number of residents and guests with accessible, last-minute transportation solutions within a 4-mile radius of the downtown core.

HOW IT WORKS:

Simply download the Circuit app, hail a ride, and their driver will confirm they're on the way. Enjoy your free ride anywhere within our service area. Four-legged friends are welcome too as long as they sit on your lap or on the floor directly next to you.
