May is Bike Everywhere Month, and Choose Your Way Bellevue is inviting the community to get outside, explore the city on two wheels, and take part in a full lineup of activities designed for riders of all experience levels. From community gatherings and educational workshops to friendly challenges and giveaways, there are plenty of ways to join the celebration throughout the month.
Kick Things Off at the Bike Everywhere Month Pizza Party
The celebration begins with a Kickoff Pizza Party on Thursday, May 7, at City Hall Plaza from 11:30AM –1:00PM
Stop by to celebrate the start of Bike Everywhere Month with fellow riders, enjoy free pizza, and learn more about upcoming activities happening across Bellevue throughout May.
Celebrate Bike Everywhere Day on May 13
Next up is Bike Everywhere Day on Wednesday, May 13, with celebration stations open from 7–10AM along both the SR 520 Trail and I-90 Trail.
Morning riders can stop by for snacks, giveaways, encouragement, and a chance to connect with other commuters and cycling enthusiasts.
Learn New Skills with Free Cascade Bicycle Club Classes
Looking to build confidence on the road or sharpen your biking skills? On May 29, Choose Your Way Bellevue is hosting two free classes at the Bellevue Downtown Library, presented by Cascade Bicycle Club.
These sessions are designed to help riders feel more comfortable and informed, whether they’re new to biking or looking to improve their everyday riding experience.
