Chow Down at Duke's Seafood & Chowder House

September 29, 2017

Fall is the perfect time for some comfort food. For me, nothing says 'comfort food in the Pacific Northwest' quite like clam chowder. If you're looking for incredible clam chowder, look no further. Duke's Seafood & Chowder House, a local favourite, has opened in the Lincoln Square Expansion.

Duke Moscrip has a long history of great seafood. His grandfather, John Fitzgerald Cox, claimed he made the Best Clam Chowder in New England. Since then, Duke has made the rounds with award-winning seafood and incredibly quality. Duke's has also made a name in the industry for only serving sustainably-sourced food.

Not only does Duke's offer clam chowder, it also offers other varieties including Lobster Pernod with langostinos and a hint of licorice, Northwest Seafood Chowder with Penn Cove mussels, and Dungeness Crab Bisque

If you're ready for fall, and you're ready for the best of fall comfort food, check out Duke's Seafood & Chowder House and you won't be disappointed!

Awards:

  • Best Seafood Restaurant in Seattle, KING5 Best of Western Washington, 2015

Tip: Duke's offers gluten-free versions of its chowders! No longer will you be limited to non-gluten-free options.

Note: Duke's has a commitment to serve only wild fish. That means no farmed salmon (you may remember our recent environmental catastrophe). For more information about why they don't serve farmed fish, read their blog post here
