Fashion and Fundraising:
Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection Returns Oct. 7-8

Fashion Week Runway

What started as a small event 17 years ago held in an unleased space at Lincoln Square South has become the most highly anticipated fashion event in the Pacific Northwest. The iconic Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection returns October 7-8 with chic style workshops, and high-energy runway shows, all for a worthy cause – tickets are on sale now

Past audience at Fashion Week

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen The Bellevue Collection give back. For the past 16 years, they’ve donated over $1 million to local nonprofits in the area, and 2022 is no different. This year’s beneficiaries include Dress For Success, Treehouse, and Bellevue Lifespring

“This event, like our other ticketed events, donates 100% of the ticket price to our beneficiaries courtesy of the Kemper Freeman Family,” Jennifer Leavitt, VP of marketing for The Bellevue Collection, “Supporting the community both locally and regionally is a core belief of the family and the Kemper Development Company.”

While community support has stayed constant over the years, Fashion Week’s featured style continues to evolve with the times. They plan to set the stage with the best fall fashion looks and all the inspiration for this season’s styles. According to Terri Morgan, show producer of TCM Models and Talents, attendees can expect to see trends that consist of bold, bright colors, black from head to toe, feminine lingerie-inspired shapes, menswear-inspired suiting, or tuxedos, and much more.

Past looks at Fashion Week

“Designers have finally started listening to women’s voices the past few years that they want to have the comfort to some extent in their wardrobe,” Morgan said. “It doesn’t mean leisure wear from head to toe. It means finding simple basics that are layered with newer trends. For example, the white tank top under an oversized suit says, ‘I’m not trying too hard, but I care to look great’.”

Attendees can also expect new event activations like a 360 photo experience booth. According to Levitt, this year’s theme is a reflection and loving what you see in the mirror.

“At The Bellevue Collection, we believe fashion should be an inspirational reflection of individual style,” said VP of Marketing for The Bellevue Collection, Jennifer Leavitt. “We hope that through our workshops and events, guests feel empowered to embrace their unique selves and develop their own one-of-kind look.”

Don’t miss beauty and style workshops and interactive experiences throughout September leading up to these two iconic runway shows. Tickets are now available and expected to sell fast; tickets may be purchased at fashionweekbellevue.com. Here’s a self-guided event list for this year’s Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection:
