Show your dad some love this Father’s Day. Here’s a list of Downtown activities that will make this Sunday one to remember:

Outdoor Activities:

Meydenbauer Bay Park – The weather is looking up this weekend! Which means that it is the perfect time to take dad out for a day on the lake. Have fun, get wet, or try something new. The Meydenbauer boathouse offers kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes.

Bellevue Downtown Park – Don’t have a lot to spend this Father’s Day? Then treat your dad to a day in the park. Put on some tunes, throw the football around, and have a picnic. Your dad is guaranteed to have a good day.

Mercer Slough Nature Park – The slough features up to seven miles of boardwalks and trails throughout the park. This is the perfect way to save money, get out and enjoy the day, and spend some quality time with your dad. Trails can be accessed via the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center.

Indoor Activities:

Steakhouse Classics, Whisk – Does your dad love to grill? Try taking him to a cooking class taught by Barbara Sowatsky! He’ll learn to sear the perfect steak and make complementary sides that will make everyone jealous.

Croissant Workshop, Whisk – Channel your inner baker with this class taught by pastry chef Thanh Tang. Together you and your dad can learn how to master not one but three different croissants. Don’t hold back!

Lucky Strike – Feeling lucky? Get those competitive juices flowing and challenge your dad to a family friendly game of bowling. A little competition never hurt anyone, right?

Dining:

520 Bar & Grill – Father’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, so why not hit up 520 for brunch? The perfect way to start off the day. 520 Bar & Grill offers up everything from the classic breakfast burrito to steak and eggs.

Burger Brawl, Lincoln South Food Hall – Up for the challenge? Challenge your dad to a burger eating contest on June 15 at the Lincoln South Food Hall for the chance to win a dinner for four at Ascend Prime on Father’s Day or a family pack of steaks! How many can your dad down?

Dads and Grads Brunch, El Gaucho – Father’s Day isn’t the only thing just around the corner. So is graduation! El Gaucho is holding the ultimate Sunday brunch for both dads and grads. Get your fill of salmon, prime rib, pork belly, and of course the beloved breakfast classics.
