Free Light Rail Shuttles Arrives in Downtown Bellevue

Free rides from Bellevue Downtown Station to downtown Bellevue destinations have officially launched in Downtown Bellevue. The Bellevue Light Rail Shuttle offers complimentary rides from Bellevue Downtown Station to destinations throughout Bellevue’s Downtown Core including hotels, restaurants, shopping, parks, attractions, offices, and more. No app. No fare. Just an easy connection to wherever your Downtown adventure begins.

HOW TO RIDE: 

1. Arrive by Light Rail: Take Sound Transit's 2 Line to Bellevue Downtown Station
2. Find the Shuttle: Head to the designated Bellevue Light Rail Shuttle pickup area outside the station.
3. Give Your Destination: Hop aboard and tell the driver your destination. The driver will confirm it is within the service area. 
4. Ride Free: Enjoy a complimentary ride to hotels, restaurants, shopping, offices, parks, attractions, and more.

The Bellevue Light Rail Shuttle will feature free, electric shuttle vans, including the new Volkswagen ID. Buzz vehicles. These dedicated shuttles will be staged as trains arrive in Bellevue, helping riders continue their trip from the station to their destination with ease.

What are the hours?
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Who can use the shuttles? 
The shuttle is available for everyone, including visitors, hotel guests, Downtown employees, residents, and more. 

What if there isn't a shuttle in the staging area?
The shuttles are circulating and dropping off other riders. Please be patient and another shuttle will come to the staging area within 10 – 15 minutes.

Where can the shuttle take me?
The shuttle serves destinations throughout Bellevue's Downtown Core within the designated service area. The Bellevue Light Rail Shuttle can only drop off riders within the geofenced area. Riders could consider being dropped off in an area that is closer to their final destination, but shuttles cannot deliver outside the map.

Can I bring my pet? 
Yes! Pets are welcome along for the ride but welcome them at the discretion of each individual driver and the other passengers in the vehicle. Please speak with your driver when they arrive to confirm it is acceptable and remember to follow this pet etiquette
