Pearl Seafood & Oyster Bar, a locally owned restaurant in the heart of Bellevue at Lincoln Square, launching Oyster Madness, the most anticipated oyster-centric event of 2017.

The four-week celebration that runs through Sunday, April 2, is a showcase of the finest oysters from the Pacific Northwest; perfectly matched beverage pairings; tips and insights provided by an expert oysterman, along with shucking demonstrations and competitions.

“Oysters are some of the most naturally delicious edibles we have on the planet,” said Bradley Dickinson, chef and co-owner of Pearl. “Our goal with Oyster Madness is to give people a chance to compare and contrast the different flavor profiles that exist from the various growing regions here in the Puget Sound area – salty, briny, sweet, creamy. It’s all on the table and we plan on having some fun with it. We’re fortunate to be able to partner with a true oysterman in Jon Rowley, and the folks at Taylor Shellfish who not only provide us with great product, but will frequently be on location to help educate people and discuss the intricacies of oysters; our growing regions and shucking techniques.”

On Friday, March 10th the restaurant will host a kick-off happy hour from 4-7pm. To celebrate, enjoy your first round of Taylor Shellfish oysters compliments of Pearl.
