Paws Up for Pride! Fourth Annual Paws & Pride Dog Walk Returns June 6

Family-friendly LGBTQIA+ celebration featuring a dog walk, live performances, and a vibrant “After Pawty,” while benefiting Youth Eastside Services and Seattle Humane

Bellevue, WA – From rainbow flags to wagging tails, Bellevue Downtown Park will come to life on Saturday, June 6 for the fourth annual Paws & Pride Dog Walk, kicking off Pride Month on the Eastside. Produced by the Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) and Eastside Pride PNW, the event celebrates community, inclusion and unapologetic self-expression — four-legged friends included – but not required.

Free registration is available here. Donations are encouraged and will benefit Youth Eastside Services and Seattle Humane in Bellevue.

The Pride celebration will begin at 10 a.m. with a program led by City of Bellevue Mayor Mo Malakoutian and other city leaders. It will be followed by an “After Paw-ty” featuring live performances from Gaysha Starr (emcee), Ember Royale, Fallon Fitality, Rainbow City Band and Seattle Opera, along with a beer and mimosa garden, food trucks, and the can’t-miss RuPaw’s Dog Costume Contest. Attendees can also explore a variety of booths hosted by pet-focused businesses, LGBTQIA+ organizations and community partners.

“This event underscores the power of visibility, representation, and community, bringing those values to life in a truly meaningful way,” said Corrinalyn Guyette, Board President of Eastside Pride PNW. “Now more than ever, it’s essential to create spaces that bring people together, and we’re proud to continue this tradition alongside our partners at the Bellevue Downtown Association.”

This year’s event continues to build on a growing tradition of bringing the Eastside community together in a visible and meaningful way. By creating space for celebration, connection and support, Paws & Pride highlights the importance of fostering acceptance and belonging for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies alike.

“The Paws & Pride Dog Walk represents what Downtown Bellevue is all about, a place where everyone belongs and every celebration adds to the energy of our community,” said Patrick Bannon, President & CEO of the BDA. “We’re proud to partner with Eastside Pride PNW to help it grow each year.”

The Paws & Pride Dog Walk is made possible through the support of presenting partners Symetra and Salesforce; friends of Paws & Pride Amazon, B’zoe Care and Sound Transit; community partners HDR, Overlake Medical Center & Clinics, Seattle Opera, Smith Brothers and VCA Bellevue Veterinary Hospital; and media partners 425 Magazine, C89.5 and Warm 106.9. The event also supports beneficiaries Youth Eastside Services (YES) and Seattle Humane.
