What to Expect

Moderated by Kim Malcolm, host of KUOW’s All Things Considered, this community event will give you a clear look at each candidate’s vision for Bellevue’s growth, housing, transportation, public safety, parks, and economic vitality. Whether you’re a Bellevue resident, downtown stakeholder, or simply invested in the future of our city, this forum is your opportunity to be informed before casting your vote.

This year, we’re introducing an exciting new feature: the Campaign Fair. Before the forum begins, attendees can step into a dedicated networking space to meet candidates face-to-face, ask questions, and learn more about their campaign priorities.

5 Reasons. Your Future in Focus.

To help you prepare, we’re sharing five reasons you should attend Downtown Talks: Bellevue City Council Candidate Forum 2025:

  1. Shape Bellevue’s Future – Hear from all 10 City Council candidates in one morning.
  2. The Big Issues, Up Close – Learn where candidates stand on key issues and their vision for Bellevue
  3. Meet the Candidates, Personally – Engage with them directly during the first ever Campaign Fair.
  4. Trusted, Neutral Space – Experience an informative, nonpartisan conversation moderated by KUOW’s Kim Malcolm.
  5. Be Part of the Change – Stay engaged and help guide Bellevue into its next chapter.

The candidates you’ll meet at this forum will be on Bellevue’s November ballot, which means their decisions will guide the city’s growth, livability and economic vitality for years to come. This is more than just a forum – it’s your seat at the table to hear directly from the people who want to represent you.

Reserve your seat today and join us as we put Bellevue’s future in focus.
