Celebrate with us at the 11th Annual Bellevue Jazz & Blues Festival!

The Bellevue Jazz & Blues Festival celebrates community and the creative power of music. The festival hosts over 40 live shows at various venues across the city. We invite the community to explore and share their passion for live jazz and blues at the Eastside's premier showcase for top national and regional artists.

Frank S. Holmann III performs at El Gaucho Bellevue.

About Frank S. Holmann III:

Frank was exposed to music at a very early age by his father who played trumpet in “Big Bands”. Influences included Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Al Hirt, Pete Fountain, and classical jazz masters such as Ahmad Jamal and Ramsey Lewis. Frank did the “classical piano lessons and recitals” thing in his teens, but soon found his interests tilting towards the 60’s. Frank has played in bands most of his life, touring the US and Canada, and has recorded numerous CD projects.

Currently, Frank is passionately involved in the Northwest Blues scene and performs regularly at Highway 99 Blues Club and Triple Door, as well as Festivals including Winthrop Blues Festival and Bumbershoot. In the past 6 years, Frank has found a home as a solo artist playing a variety of classical and contemporary songs on the grand piano in various settings. His repertoire extends from The Beatles, through Sinatra, Elton John, The Doors, Moody Blues, Heart, and includes favorite Movie Themes.
