Celebrate Senior Fitness in the Park!
National Senior Health & Fitness Day, now in its 31st year, is traditionally held on the last Wednesday in May. As the nation’s largest annual older adult health and wellness event, its goals are to help keep older Americans healthy and fit, and to showcase what local organizations are doing in their communities to promote senior health and wellness. Will you help us actively celebrate?
The Bellettini will host two seated Senior Fitness classes in Ashwood Park (next door to the Public Library). We invite the community to come and participate in one or both classes, meet other exercisers and enjoy some refreshments before coming home with a medal of achievement! All exercises will be seated and will not require any equipment; we will remind participants to work at their own pace and to take rest breaks when needed. The classes are open to everyone.
