Our fast-growing “destination” economy is linked to how well Bellevue creates and markets an experience that resonates with leisure and business travelers alike. Visit Bellevue Washington, our destination marketing organization (DMO), tackles this vital work for our city.

The strategy seems to be working so far as Bellevue sees over 1.7 million visitors each year, spending over $903 million. Downtown Bellevue is a big part of that story as our 4,000+ hotel rooms see an overall occupancy rate of 73%. But there’s more to be done. The recently approved Destination Development Plan is a 10-year strategy to get the marketing and brand of this place right. And Visit Bellevue Washington is at the helm.

Join us for the journey at the BDA’s October Breakfast. We’ll welcome Brad Jones, the new Executive Director of Visit Bellevue Washington, as he sets the stage for where our local DMO is going next, and how the effort will strengthen partnerships and participation throughout the community.
