Saybrook University would like to invite you to join like-minded colleagues for an exploration of innovative leadership and energy. This six-hour course engages international, national and regional leaders on being successful leaders in their companies while also constructively impacting the bottom line in a significant manner. There are approaches on how best to engage systems thinking for innovation, and to leverage a variety of tools and approaches to support long-term resource-sustainable solutions.
We all realize this: Energy is critical to our society, economy, and quality of life. It is also a major source of uncertainty and risk to the environment.
These realizations create an opportunity gap for many organizations and businesses: how to effectively provide their communities and stakeholders with economic vitality, operational resiliency, and environmental stewardship. Energy solutions require leaders willing to innovate, pivot and collaborate. This course will examine best practice frameworks for leaders in the electric, transportation, waste, and financial sectors. Global case studies will be considered. Attendees will learn how to engage with and apply these decision frameworks for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and operational resilience that minimizes impact while meeting outcomes and expectations.

9.00-4.30 There will have time for an hour and a half hour lunch on your own. Individuals outside the U.S. will join us on-line.
