This year marks the return of beloved winter activities in Bellevue. Starting November 19, 2021 and running until January 9, 2022, the Bellevue Downtown Association’s Season of Cheer (previously ‘Magic Season’) will transform Downtown Bellevue into a comprehensive holiday destination. Many events were canceled last year because of the pandemic, but return in 2021 with COVID-19 safety protocols.

Bellevue Downtown Park
The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink presented by Symetra is the region’s largest seasonal ice skating experience, with more than 9,000 square feet of real ice. Open daily including holidays. Buy tickets online!

Bellevue Botanical Garden
Garden d’Lights features over half a million sparkling lights formed in the whimsical shapes of plants, birds, animals, and cascading waterfalls set amid the natural beauty of the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Look for many of your old favorites, and some new surprises too!

Meydenbauer Center Theatre hosts an enchanting series of holiday-themed productions, including Issaquah Dance Theatre’s The Nutcracker, Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra, International Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker, Karin Kirkland School of Dance Winter Performance and Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Join the Bellevue Parks Department to welcome the annual Christmas Ship Festival. Dress for the weather and come see a parade of boats with local chorus groups singing on board. Beach fire provided.
