Bellevue Arts Museum Gets Creative to help Local Hospitals

Answering the call for much needed blood donations, Bellevue Arts Museum has partnered with Bloodworks Northwest to host a new option for blood donations right in Downtown. BAM will transform into an instant pop-up donor center experience, providing donors a safe and convenient location to donate blood. Bloodworks Northwest provides 95% of the blood used by local hospitals, and greatly needs our community's help to resume surgeries, medical treatments, and procedures that require transfusions. Bloodworks Northwest reports that patient blood needs have surged to pre-COVID 19 levels, and the supply is running dangerously low.

All donations at the BAM donor center are by appointment only to provide the safest donation environment and adhere to all social distancing guidelines. Additionally, no walk-ins, guests, or people under age 16 are permitted onsite. Your one-hour donation appointment is a safe and essential action to support local hospitals.
