Bellevue Beats Summer Concerts Serves Up Free Local Jams, Starting July 5
From melodic trumpet sounds on the streets to rhythmic drum noises at a sold-out show, the arrival of warm summer days often brings the anticipation of live music experiences. That’s why the Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is bringing back their longest summer concert series yet: Bellevue Beats.
Spanning July to September, the BDA is reigniting Downtown’s music scene with the return of live concerts every Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. and every Wednesday in conjunction with a pop-up market from 11:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. Mike Ogliore, BDA’s vice president of events & operations, said the 10-week summer concerts are a great way for the Bellevue community to experience the power of music and keep live performances present in the city.
“Giving local and regional talents a platform to share their love of music with Downtown Bellevue’s residents, workforce and visitors is exactly what Bellevue Beats is all about,” Ogliore said. “There’s really nothing better than taking your lunch outside and enjoying live, local jams under the sun.”
Bellevue Beats is made possible by partners Amazon, the City of Bellevue, and 4Culture with media support from 425 Magazine. Together, these investments in Bellevue Beats help drive economic activity within Downtown Bellevue while providing an opportunity for live music celebrations and experiences.
