Downtown Talks: How The Bellevue Collection is Keeping You Safe This Holiday Season

When Washington’s Safe Start plan necessitated a complete shutdown of non-essential shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, the bustling Bellevue Collection (which includes Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place) went uncannily silent. While it was a necessary step to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the Bellevue Collection team quickly began preparing for a safe reopening as soon as the time was right.

Reopening their doors on June 30, the Bellevue Collection added sweeping measures to create a safe and comfortable shopping and dining experience - from medical-grade air filtration to enhanced sanitation programs. Since then, shoppers have returned and restaurants are seating tables. Things are picking up.

But the holidays are right around the corner. To get the scoop on how things are going and what the future may hold, we’re talking with Jennifer Leavitt, VP of Marketing at The Bellevue Collection, for our next Downtown Talks conversation. Jennifer will share insights on how they’ve reimagined the shopping experience and what this means for the upcoming gift-giving season. From behind-the-scenes specifics covering safety measures to insights on the future of brick-and-mortar retail, you’ll hear everything you need to know in this quick 30 minute chat.

Don’t want to miss it? You can stream the video conversation for free on November 19, premiering at 11:00am. Make sure to sign up for viewing instructions to get a link sent right to your inbox.
