Person Behind the Place:
Jenny Corry

Owner & Operator  |  Paddy Coyne's Irish Pub

Beyond the pints of Guinness at Paddy Coyne’s Bellevue are genuinely good folk, like Jenny Corry, who cook up delicious Irish fare and an energetic atmosphere where friends can always be found and conversations flow like the drinks on tap. We caught up with her to learn more about her favorite destinations in the #HeartofBellevue!

What do you love about working Downtown?
I have always loved living here and genuinely appreciate the opportunity to operate our restaurant in the ever growing city of Bellevue. I grew up in Bellevue, have watched its tremendous growth over the years, and continue to be amazed by the city’s ability to flourish even during economically challenging times. We have built a name for ourselves as the little neighborhood pub in Downtown Bellevue, which we might not have been able to achieve in another large urban city. Personally, Bellevue has always seemed like a big city with a small community feel. A majority of our customers have become part of our family of regulars, much like you would discover in a small town.

How has Paddy Coyne's been involved in Downtown's COVID-19 recovery?
While under the strain of closing and keeping our employees employed, my husband and I took on most of our charitable donations from our personal funds vs donating directly from the business. In the interim, we dropped off all of the food in our coolers to food banks and shelters when we were forced to close.

Any upcoming events or exclusive promotions happening at Paddy Coyne's Irish Pub?
On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 9th all moms can enjoy one free entrée with the purchase of two or more. Plus, daily lunch specials are offered 11am – 2pm along with hearty breakfast combinations between 10am - 2pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Favorite places to SHOP in Bellevue?
I love the variety of shops in Bellevue Square, everything from the major players like Nordstrom or Macy’s to smaller boutiques such as Athleta, Fireworks or the Made in Washington outlet.

Favorite places to DINE?
Wild Ginger or for special occasions El Gaucho or Daniel’s Broiler

Where do you like to HANG OUT in Bellevue?
When I need a breath of fresh air, I like to pop over to Downtown Park or Meydenbauer Bay Park to enjoy the great outdoors!
