The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink is Back
The Eastside’s largest holiday ice skating experience
opens November 19
The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is bringing back the region’s beloved ice rink tradition to Bellevue Downtown Park. The 24th annual Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink presented by Symetra will be open daily, including holidays from November 19 through January 9, 2022. A signature event of Bellevue’s Season of Cheer, the ice rink features more than 9,000 square feet of real ice, a spacious viewing area, on-site concessions, free parking nearby and a variety of special events.
Due to COVID-19, several changes were made to provide a safe and enjoyable community event. A new online ticketing system will allow guests to schedule their visit and purchase tickets in advance. Reservation slots are available in 30-minute intervals, with no limitations on the duration of stay (hours of operation vary). Walk-up tickets are limited, so visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
Per Washington State Department of Health and King County Public Health, the ice rink structure is classified as an “OpenAir 2” facility with mesh side openings that allow for air flow and all-weather skating. Proof of vaccination is not required, but face masks will be enforced for all visitors and staff (regardless of vaccination status) unless eating or drinking.
“The BDA is following state and local health guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guest,” said Mike Ogliore, vice president of BDA events and operations. “We will be cleaning and sanitizing all high touch surfaces, rental skates and skating bumpers on a regular basis and adding hand sanitizer stations throughout the rink.”
With this in mind, we cannot do it on our own. We need everyone to do their part in helping us achieve a safe and successful 2021-2022 skating season. Join us in making magical memories and celebrate the most wonderful time of year in the heart of Bellevue!
- Weekdays (Mon. - Thurs.): $13

Love to skate? The Season Pass for unlimited skating is available for $99! Season Passes will be available for purchase on-site at the rink beginning November 19. Pass holders will not need to make reservations and can enter anytime during posted public hours.
