Vaccination Verification For Many Activities in Downtown Bellevue: What to Expect

On Oct. 25, King County will be requiring people ages 12 and older to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result from the last 72 hours to enter outdoor public events of 500 or more people, indoor entertainment and recreational establishments such as live music, performing arts, gyms, restaurants and bars. Takeout and outdoor dining are still available for those who are looking for an alternative option.

The requirement is put in place to protect customers, workers, the healthcare community and prevent business closures as the Delta variant continues to spread throughout King County. In a time like this, it’s important to continue to support each other.

Valid forms of verification includes:

  • Vaccination card
  • Photo of vaccination card
  • Record from MyIRMobile.com
  • Printer record from vaccination provider or MyIRMobile.com
  • Negative COVID test taken in the last 72 hours

COVID-19 testing sites are available throughout the city. Find a testing site near you on the King County website.

Looking to get vaccinated? Visit the state's Department of Health’s vaccination locator to find and schedule an appointment.

According to public data, close to 94% of eligible Bellevue residents are vaccinated against COVID-19. Remember to be kind to one another, especially those in service-related industries, as the fight to slow the spread and speed our recovery continues. Downtown Bellevue is stronger when we act together.

More information in multiple languages on how to obtain and present verification is at KingCounty.gov/verify. The site also has resources for businesses subject to the new requirements;COVID-19 business resource page also has helpful information.
